Colonial Plaza Hotel - Puno

Great location right in the city center, and the staff was really thoughtful. The room was clean and had a modern vibe, and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the breakfast, especially the sausages and cheese! 🥐

Right in the center of the city, Colonial Plaza offers a charming hotel with spacious rooms organized around a beautiful internal courtyard. The location on Plaza de Armas is perfect for exploring the city. The staff were helpful, especially when it came to arranging tours. Our room was very large, with a sizable bathroom. Despite a few minor issues, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right beside the main square in Puno and opposite the cathedral. We loved being close to the pedestrian area with many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast provided was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Location couldn't be better! Right on the plaza, with the Palace of Justice just a block away and armed police always present for added security. The hotel staff were helpful and offered reasonably priced tours. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and great showers. Plus, the breakfast buffet was delicious, with fresh juices and fruits.

Some areas of the hotel could use a thorough cleaning, like the windows that seemed to have not been washed for a while. There were also some stained bedsheets and occasional problems with the Wi-Fi and hot water.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, right on the main square in the heart of the city. Being close to the pedestrian area meant that there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even preparing breakfast for us at 5:30am before we had to leave. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, including space for four people. The value for money was excellent, too.

What a great value for our money! The room at Colonial Plaza was comfortable and cozy, with extra blankets available if needed. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the main square, and the staff were pretty good too make our stay enjoyable. They even stored our luggage and had it waiting in our room when we returned from our trip to Titicaca. Plus, the restaurant downstairs was fantastic, thanks to the amazing waiting staff, especially Alejandro. Highly recommended!

The morning meal could have been better. The coffee was undrinkable, and on one occasion, the milk was off and on the next, there was none.
